Notifiable matters
The law requires us to advise you of ‘notifiable matters’ regarding your credit information. We exchange credit information with credit reporting bodies to assist in providing you with credit assistance.

- Request corrections to that information.
- Notify credit reporting bodies if you believe you have been a victim of fraud. (Upon notification, the body must not use or disclose that information for a period of 21 days).

Using government identifiers
While we may collect government identifiers (such as a Tax File Number) where required by law, we do not use or disclose this information for any other purpose. We will never use a government identifier as our own internal means of identifying you.

Where lawful and practicable, we will offer you the opportunity of doing business with us without providing personal information—for example, when making general inquiries about interest rates or current promotions. However, identification is generally necessary to successfully complete credit transactions.
Sensitive information

Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with how we have dealt with your personal information, or you have a complaint about our compliance with the Privacy Act and the Credit Reporting Code, you may contact our Complaints Officer on 1300 667 694. We will acknowledge your complaint within seven days and provide you with a decision within 30 days.
